Simulation of PIC16C5X Series Microcontrollers
-
Simulation of PIC16C5X Series Microcontrollers is available with the new
revision of EDWinXP. This module allows compiling, debugging of Assembly code
for this device. Currently supported devices are
PIC16C54,PIC16C55,PIC16C56,PIC16C57,PIC16C58.
-
HITACHI HD44780U (LCD-II) -(Dot Matrix Liquid Crystal Display Controller/Driver)
-
The HD44780U dot-matrix liquid crystal display controller and driver LSI
displays alphanumerics, Japanese kana characters, and symbols. It can be
configured to drive a dot-matrix liquid crystal display under the control of a
4- or 8-bit microprocessor. Since all the functions such as display RAM,
character generator, and liquid crystal driver, required for driving a
dot-matrix liquid crystal display are internally provided on one chip, a
minimal system can be interfaced with this controller/driver. A single HD44780U
can display up to one 8-character line or two 8-character lines. The HD44780U
character generator ROM is extended to generate 208 5x8 dot character fonts and
32 5x10 dot character fonts for a total of 240 different character fonts.

BugFixes
-
Board Outline. Relocate segments (Board Format/Relocate Outline) doesn't work.
Options F6-F8 has no effect-FIXED.
-
Routing problem. Place a wire so it will pass over a pad that is shall not be
connected to. Switch to relocate and also press sub tool F3. Now click on the
wire at the edge on the pad. You will get a pop-up. Click No. The pop up will
not go away. - FIXED
-
Layout. Problem with block copy. If you have a wire with a via that have more
than one wire connected to it, after the block copy and paste, the wires will
not be connected and there will be two vias on top of each other. That is not
good as it will generate two holes on top of each other and this is not
acceptable by the board manufacturer. Similar problem exists in Schematic,
wires with connections with other wires will loses their contacts - FIXED.
-
Settings like the cursor size (long cursor) will be saved for the next session.
- FIXED.
-
While relocating the component with true size disabled and View holes enabled
resulted in the holes are not dragged with the component, this is fixed.
-
Problem with settings of view holes rememberd between sessions and has been
